I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas and had lots of good food, lovely presents and fun times with friends and family. Last year, I did a what I got for Christmas post so I thought I would do the same this year as I know that I love to read them. I have been truly spoilt and I am so grateful to all of my friends and family – thank you! The reason that this is part one is that I am not seeing Daniel until the 31st so we will be exchanging gifts then and I hope to do a part 2.
The main present from my mum is this amazing coat from Next. We were both shopping a month or so ago and I saw this coat and instantly fell in love. I’m still a bit unsure as to whether I can pull it off or not but I don’t really care as I love it so much. I will post a picture of this in my next post. My dad bought me two T-shirts from Jack Wills and I love them both. My mum actually bought me the striped one too so I will have to exchange one or just have two of the same. I love the t-shirts from Jack Wills because they are so soft and I know they will last. Finally, my mum bought me these cute pyjamas bottoms from Next. These are so soft, I wish it was acceptable to wear them out. My nan bought me a Jasper Conran camel scarf and hat that go perfectly with my hat. I am surprised that this colour actually suits me to be honest but even if it didn’t I would still wear it because it is so soft and lovely. My brother, Sam works for Diesel so he decided to buy me a Diesel t-shirt and I love it. This t-shirt is so comfortable and soft, it is definitely one of my favourites.
My best friend Bella surprised me with this beautiful ring from Pandora and I really love it. I’m not usually a fan of Pandora jewellery but this is so cute and lovely, I have worn it every day since I received it. Thank you so much, Bella! My other best friend Laura bought me these gorgeous rose gold elephant earrings from Claires. I love elephants and always wear elephant earrings and necklaces but this is so different and so cute. I cannot wait to keep wearing these.
I love chocolate orange so I was very pleased when I found that my mum had bought me a Terry’s Chocolate Orange as well as the packet or exploding candy ones (they’re my favourite). She also bought me chocolate covered strawberry millions and I am obsessed, I wish these were more common. Laura bought me this bar of chocolate that says I donut care and that is me in a nutshell.
This is the only thing that I asked for and that is the Mac Snowball Gift Set (mentioned in my Beauty Gift Guide) from my nan. This includes a beautiful sequin bag that I will use to travel with and a mini brush that is one of the softest brushes I have ever touched, a sample of the prep + prime and finally, the most gorgeous highlighter that I possibly own. I was so excited to open this and it is so stunning, I will be using this a lot. My other nan bought me a Dr Hauschka gift set that includes the Rose Day Cream, Soothing Cleansing Milk and the Facial Toner. Can we just take a moment to appreciate that all three of these are full size? I tried these last night and I think I am really going to love these, especially the toner as it is so refreshing. She also got me a Tropic bamboo face cloth which I am yet to try but it sounds amazing. My mum practically bought me the whole Oh K! collection which I am incredibly happy with. I have always wanted to try their foot peeling mask so I was so excited to receive that in addition to the lip balm, under eye mask and a sheet masque. I have tried the sheet masque and it was very refreshing although you do look terrifying when you’ve got it on. Laura also got me a No 7 eyeshadow that is a bronzey/golden colour and I am obsessed with it already. This is in addition to a face mask and a bath bomb but I have already used both of those.
I received an abundance of lip balm which I am extremely grateful for as my lips are always so dry in the winter. I received some slippers from my nan – they are so soft and cosy. I wish I could wear these at work, it would make my day a lot better. My great aunt gave me a Ted Baker gift set that included a body spray, body lotion and body wash. I love the Ted Baker gift sets because everything always smells so nice. I love cocktails so my mum bought me cocktails baubles – how festive. I will be taking these with me to Chesterfield for New Year’s Eve. I also got a photo album, bubble bath, nail files and a mirror. Finally, my dad gave me lots of money towards my camera and I am super grateful as I have used it so much and I literally don’t know what I would do without it.
What did you get for Christmas?
